One year after its initial reveal, and following an intense, multi-year development and testing program, the first Chiron Super Sport Hyper Sport units are now rolling out of the Molsheim Atelier.

One of the first of the Chiron Super Sports to be delivered has received special treatment from Bugatti’s Sur Mesure customization program. It features bespoke ‘Vagues de Lumière’ paintwork – an intricate hand-painted pattern that resembles the way lights reflect off Chiron Super Sport’s curved panels.

The Chiron Super Sport is the fastest series production Bugatti hyper sports car that also epitomizes supreme aerodynamic efficiency. Each carbon fiber surface has been made by Bugatti’s team of expert designers and engineers to extract greater performance, without compromise.

The hyper car is powered by a thoroughly overhauled version of Bugatti’s famous 8.0-liter W16 engine. Bugatti’s engineers developed and fitted larger quad-turbochargers, alongside an enhanced oil pump, cylinder head and valve train. The hyper sports car’s transmission and clutch were also adapted to the enriched powertrain. The Chiron Super Sport accelerates from 0 to 200 km/h in 5.8 seconds and to 300 km/h in 12.1 seconds. The hyper car accelerates from 0 to 400 km/h seven percent quicker than a Chiron.

Bugatti developed a new chassis specifically for the Chiron Super Sport’s high speeds and new aerodynamics. Its steering and harder springs ensure complete stability at 440 km/h. Aided by the automobile’s extended rear and modified front end, a neutral balance is maintained.
All Chiron Super Sport build slots have now been reserved, with an extensive waiting list should any open up.
