The Ivy Chelsea Garden on the hand, has undergone a spectacular makeover that will definitely spread Christmas cheer to diners and passersby. It has been transformed into Santa’s legendary workshop and this dazzling display is on show.

This restaurant is bringing the spirit of the North Pole to the King’s Road and this extravagant display will be up for the rest of the year. The wintery installation will include Santa’s mailroom, reindeer stables, a giant Christmas tree, multi-coloured decorations and of course, Santa’s sleigh. Now it wouldn’t be Santa’s workshop without elves and there’ll be plenty of Santa’s little helpers to ensure that this is a December to remember.

The Ivy will be adding a series of bespoke Veuve Clicquot champagne cocktails to their menu to toast the seasonal makeover. Try the Poinsetta, a delicious blend of Veuve Clicquot, Cointreau and cranberry juice, garnished with a spiralised fragrant orange twist; or the Spiced 75 made using Veuve Clicquot, Bacardi spiced rum, lime and winter spice syrup. For a rosy twist, go for the Winter Rose, which consists of Veuve Clicquot Rosè, Lanique Rose Liqueur and lychee.

For some fabulous festive food, dine in their lavish restaurant where a mouthwatering menu full of warming, seasonal dishes awaits you. In my humble opinion, their Rudolph-inspired dessert, featuring a melting chocolate bombe, vanilla ice cream, honeycomb, salted caramel sauce, an edible red nose and biscuit antlers definitely takes the cake.
