About 70% of buyers were from the U.S., while 30% were international, she added, with the Covid-19 pandemic helping to fuel demand from domestic buyers.
“There were many more buyers from the Northeast than we were anticipating,” Ms. Sunshine said. “The tax situation has a lot to do with that.”
Florida is one of nine states that does not have a state income tax.
